As a"cultural calling card"of urban infrastructure, artistic manhole covers transform functional manhole covers into a part of the urban landscape through pattern design, color matching, and material innovation. Its production needs to balance strength, corrosion resistance, and Artistic manhole cover .The factory combines standardized processes with personalized customization to achieve a balance between large-scale production and cultural expression.
1.Raw material recycling and smelting
The Artistic manhole cover factory collects industrial scrap iron through electromagnetic suction cups and adds alloy elements such as magnesium, silicon, and graphite in proportion to enhance the strength and toughness of cast iron.Scrap iron is melted into molten iron in a high-temperature furnace at 1800℃,and after removing impurities,it is injected into the mold through sand casting technology.
2.Mold design and casting molding
According to the customer's customized requirements, the designer completes the pattern design on the wooden board and converts it into a 3D mold model. The mold is divided into upper and lower parts, and sand molds are made through sand casting technology.Molten iron is injected into the sand mold along the channel and cooled for 90 minutes to form a rough slab for the manhole cover. The robotic arm moves the rough billet to the M-shaped iron frame for preliminary trimming, removing burrs and burrs.
3.Surface treatment and anti-corrosion technology
Remove impurities from the surface of the manhole cover and improve coating adhesion. The Artistic manhole cover factory adopts electroplating processes of copper, nickel, and chromium to form a dense oxide film and extend its service life. For example,a factory in China has increased the corrosion resistance of manhole covers by three times through electroplating technology, making them suitable for humid coastal environments.
The Artistic manhole cover factory deeply integrates industrial manufacturing with cultural expression through mold design, automated casting, manual coloring, and quality inspection. In the future, with the application of technologies such as 3D printing and intelligent painting, the production efficiency and artistic expression of artistic manhole covers will be further improved, injecting more cultural connotations into urban infrastructure.
